Sue’s Art Memorial is still in progress. We would like to have it completed by early 2023 and on display at Naropa shortly thereafter. I will announce the date/time/location soon.
To work on Sue Art Memorial boxes, I will provide materials at Naropa on Oct 25th and Nov 1, 2022. Please let me know if you want to attend or host another time.
Naropa community open studio meets Tuesday evenings from 6pm – 9pm at the new art therapy space across the street from the Nalanda campus. It is located behind the Efrains restaurant. The technical address is 1603 63rd Street, suite 2, Boulder, CO.
I will bring the boxes we have so far, for appreciation and inspiration.
Over the summer I was able to travel to Nova Scotia to visit Katie Hanczaryk, who had many Cambodia trips with Sue, providing Art Therapy. Her husband Nate also assisted at a conference they created in Cambodia for providers. Daughter Alya was just a peewee at the time, but also went! All three have created boxes for Sue’s Art Memorial.
